Matthew joined The Peoples State Bank Mortgage Team at the beginning of 2020 and brings over a decade of mortgage lending experience. Throughout his career he has earned several designations in lending through both his DFI Mortgage Broker Lending and Mortgage Banking licenses. He prides himself on his native Hoosier hospitality, his client focused lending process, and building a strong local community through homeownership. Most often a home purchase or refinance comes at a pivotal part in someone’s life, a time when you start a family, shortly after a marriage, a job promotion, or have found that perfect forever home to spend the rest of your life. A mortgage is the most important financial tool available to most people, and knowing this, Matthew has a passion for helping his clients to understand the complexities of the lending process and helping them form a mortgage plan aligned for success in the present, as well as in the future.      

 

Matthew is glad to say that he has lived his whole life in Indiana. He graduated in 2010 from Indiana State University with BS degrees in Business Administration and Business Management with a focus in Economics. He lives in the Geist area with his wife Sara, and three young sons; Ryan, Jack, and Bill. He is a regular attender at his masonic lodge, enjoys serving at his church, taking his family out on their boat, riding his motorcycles, playing golf, kayaking, hiking, and camping on his Owen County property. Matthew is humbled by your trust in him for your lending needs, and is excited to work alongside you on your financing goals!
